Fountain Green

So the day after the 4th we headed down to Fountain Green, Utah. My parents own an old pioneer house down there.  A couple that came across the country with a handcart companies and built the house in the 1850's.  It was in shambles when my parents found it.  They bought it and fixed it up.  It is down by Manti, Utah and a ton of fun to go down there. Darren's side of the family came and slept over for the first night.  We had a great time in a place where life slows down and chickens roam freely.
This is an older picture but the house is the same.  It is a beautiful old pioneer house.
Erica, Me and Nicole after jogging in the morning

Corey brought BB guns for the kids to shoot.  They were lots of fun.  I wish I got a chance to shoot them, but it just didn't happen with baby Gabe.

Paul and the kids.  They shot those guns for hours!

Ellie Get Your Gun

You'll shoot your eye out!
Here is Corey with the kids making a rocket that is powered by air pressure.  Pretty cool.

So, on the left is Annabell, Allison's little girl.  Then Easton, who is Coreys, and then Sage, the little girl on the bottom right is Corey's too.  The other 3 are mine.

So they fill it 1/2 way with water, then pump it with that bike pump.  That rocket went like 150 feet in the air, I couldn't believe it!

Kyle, getting ready to pull the string to let the rocket go!

Annie and baby Gabe

More BB Guns.

Just can't get enough, just can't get enough.

Darren's sister, Allison, came down.  It was great to see her and her kids.   She has 2 kids, Annabelle and Jimmy.

Look at those Delphinium's!  and that cute baby- I love this picture.

This is all the grand kids on the Ernst side.  Lets see if I can get this- starting left to right.  Remy, Gabe, Lacey, Jimmy, Annabelle, Kyle, Sage, Ellie, Easton, and Paul.  Phew.

Making funny faces. oh, so this is at the Fish Hatchery in Fountain green.  The place was pretty impressive.

They said they have about 1.5 million fish there.

Corey, Erica, and Nicole.

Those yellow fish are bannana trout.  Paul caught some in Rigby Lake with Grampa Shep a couple of years ago.  They were a fun fish to catch!
Fish, fish, and more fish.

Oh my heart melts at my cute kids!!!

Look at those eyes!!

Erica, me and Nicole.  Nicole is Corey's wife.  We get along great.

Seriously?  Yes, those are more fish.

Paul and Easton

Baby fish, this is where they get started.

Allison with her son, Jimmy.  Ellie, Kyle and Annie holding baby Gabe.  Can you tell Erica is a such a good aunt!

After the fish hatchery Corey and Nicole headed home and the rest of us headed up Maple Canyon.  That canyon is amazing!!  All the rock there is conglomerate, and forms these big canyon walls.  I used to rock climb there all the time in High School and College. I tried to get a picture but my camera battery died.

My kids climbing around.  You go kids!!! We gotta get some harness's for those monkeys.

Happy 4th

Yea, I know, today is like the 14th of July or something, but I have been partying like crazy the last week, so this is one of the first chances I have got to blog. I flew in a couple of days before the 4th. We didn't get to my parents till 2 am western time, which is 4:00 am Florida time. So I was pretty tired and my kids were exhausted. It took us 2 days to recover from that. So, on the 4th I ran in the Freedom Run, we went to the Provo Parade, had a fun lunch at my moms, Corey and Nicole came over and we watched fireworks. A great day! The only thing missing was Darren!

My mom with Gabe

So cute!!

My mom is the best.  I love her so much!!

Look at those cute kids!!
BYU! Darren's Alma Mater

Utah Valley University! My Alma Mater.  It felt so good to be in my home town where everything is so familiar! Everything has a story in my life.

I LOVED these horses.

Gotta love the bagpipes!
My beautiful mom and best dad ever.

And oh yes, my mom is wearing a sweater in the heat- it was cute though, and that's all that matters!
So tired!  Sleeping through the bagpipes and marching bands.

My kids, Paul is holding Nyeli, Athena's (my sister) cute baby

My mom made a fabulous lunch of waffles and strawberries, and whipping cream.

Darren's brother, Corey, and his wife Nicole, came to my moms.  It was great to visit and see there cute kids.  Their daughter Lacey is on Nicoles lap, and Remy is on Corey's. Remy is just a couple of weeks older than Gabe.

Corey and Nicoles cute daughter, Sage.

Paul with fireworks.  We had to go to a church to light them because all the fireworks on the hill were banned.
