Staying Home

I am so thankful to be able to stay at home with my kids.  It always hasn't been like this-and I hated trying to juggle work and kids.  I love being able put all my focus and attention on my family.  Gabe is my little buddy.  We get to hang out all day together.  Some days we start the day working out.  Maybe weights, maybe some yoga.

Downward Dog

Then we shower, do laundry, and clean up.  Once in a while we will go out for lunch.  This day I went to lunch with a friend and Gabe was looking so cute I took like 20 pictures of him in his cute hat. I love this kid!

Then head home and I'll drive around in the car till Gabe falls asleep.  Then when he wakes up we'll take a bunch of selfies!

Then Gabe will make some sort of mess.  Or follow me around whatever project I'm doing.  I have been picking up these awesome wood shoes at yard sales and thrift stores.  I haven't paid more than $3 a pair.  They cost more than that in Holland!

Of course Gabe was curios and really wanted to wear them right after I hung them up.  I couldn't say no.

Then Gabe will disappear and I will find him out pretending to ride Darren's motorcycle.  Accompanied by his awesome motorcycle sounds.

Then he'll find my phone and take 100 pictures

Including these ones of my trying to get my phone back
I love my kids and I love Darren for working so hard everyday so I can stay home with them!

Toddler Messes

Here is why everything takes me about 4 times as long to do.
Gabe playing with my soap beads. At least it smelt good!

Gabe loves painting.  Sometimes, when I need to get something done- I 'll try and get him to watch TV.  But he refuses- he says he wants to paint!  Looks like I have a little Leonardo on our hands.

Here he is making rows with his yogurt.  Cause that's what you do with yogurt- right?

Kyle and Gabe are such good friends.  They love each other and get along so well.

Sunday Roast

This last Sunday paul wanted to make dinner like a restaraunt.  He made signs and menus.  Then he was the waiter and took our orders and served us.  We ate by candle light-it was a fun way to spice up a Sunday dinner.

Now, most people will look at these picture and see us the sign hanging.  I can tell you the thing my mom is looking at is the wall color.  So, what do you think mom? :)

Happy Halloween

Enjoy some cute pictures of my cute kids on Halloween!

The kids didn't get nearly as much candy here as they did in Florida, so they were a little disappointed.  They got over it.  No place will compare with Florida beaches, and abundant Halloween candy.  Gabe was as cute as could be, he went trick-or-treating with the kids for a while then came home and helped me pass out candy.  He was so cute- he kept saying, "I like your costume!" Well Gabe, I like your costume too.
