Dinosaur munemunemune

That's what Paul used to call the Dinosaur Museaum at Thanksgiving Point in Utah. It's pretty much one of his favorite places ever. So, of coarse we had to go there. We went with my good friend Lindsay.  Unfortunately, my camera ran out of batteries so I only got some pictures of the kids.
Kyle, Ellie, and Paul

Pizza Oven

One night for the reunion we went to Laura and Gordons house. Their house is so fun, whenever we get there my kids disappear and I don't see them again! We made pizza's that Gordon cooked in the pizza oven.  They are gracious hosts and actually like have everyone over!(at least I think they do!)

Laura working hard in her beautiful kitchen!
Gordon slaving away.  That pizza oven gets heated up to around 800 degrees! The pizza's cook fast!  Mark and Malinda helping out.
David, and Paul having these fun and delicious Italian Cream Soda's,  yumm. I'm getting thirsty just thinking about it!

DeBry Family Reunion

Out of the 5 weeks I was in Utah I knew Darren wished he could be with us.  Except this day.  I bet you can guess why.  I wished he was there extra that day!!
It started out innocent.  Looking like this nice picnic dinner.

Having a great time chilling in the mountain park.
Maybe you knew this was coming- Family Pictures!!
Oh I do love our family!!
Now lets get Opa and Grandma Rita with the 34 grandkids! And 13 adults behind the camera yelling, clapping and hopping on one leg trying to get the babies to look at the camera.
Only 20 more pictures to go!  Keep smiling kids!
Nayeli is starting to loose it!
I love this picture! My dad is so nice!!  I think even though he has a smile on his face inside he feels like Nayeli!
I love this picture- mostly because I love my parents and brothers and sisters so much.  Left to Right we have Mark, Athena, Me, Julia, Dad, Mom, Christina, and David.  We all get along so well and truly love each other so much.  My siblings are my best friends.
Here we are with our spouses.  Except my spouse is in Florida.  And Julia's hubby was working.  We left a space so we could Photo-Shop Darren and Terry in.
And here's where it all started.  My parents are 2 of the best people I know.
Ok, this picture makes me sad.  Family reunion with no Darren.  Next time!!  LOL I'm sure he can't wait!

The Saga Continues

Well, here  I sit, at my computer, with so many posts to catch up that I think I may just turn the computer off and never blog again.  If I just post twice a day I'll be caught up in a few years.
First of all, I made it home in one piece.  The flights home were ok, really, I can't complain about travel these days.  After Gabe had been crying for the HOUR that we were waiting on the runway I thought, "well, at least I'm not walking there, in bare feet, in the winter, with no food, or shelter, and everyone around me dying, for three months."  I mean seriously, its a few hours of sitting in a comfortable chair, with a pillow and blanket, and a women bringing me drinks and offering earplugs to everyone sitting by me.  Everyone at the airports and on my flights were very helpful and nice.  One guy said to me, "What are you, a glutton for punishment?"  Hmmmm.
Ok, seriously though, my 5 week vacation is over.  Where does time go???  I wish I could pause time. But no, it keeps on going and going.  Sometimes  it seems slower and other times faster.  Like 6 months of pregnancy (SLOW) compared to Gabe's first 6 months (FAST!) It was so good to see family and friends and I mean, really, really, good.  Lets take it one activity at a time.  I guess we will start off where I left off.
The DeBry Family Reunion.  My parents, plus their 7 kids and their spouses, (everyone except Darren.) and 34! grand-kids. (I think) It made for a large party.  It mostly took place at my parents house- which they just remodeled.  It looked just beautiful! She had it all decked out for the 4th, so when I got there at night all the lights were on and the house looked spectacular! See for yourself-
Look at that house! I think it has so much style and character!  I just love it.

The lawn looked like a putting green.  Way to go dad!

We got there a couple days before everyone else started to arrive.  But come July 7th everyone was there!
Makayla, Grace, Paul, and Ashlyn

Like always, my mom had it all decked out and looking awesome.  My mom knows how to throw a party! Here is Mark, Marilyn, David, Julia, and Malinda.  I miss you guys!!

Beautiful arrangements my mom had out for the festivities.
On the side of the house were all the tables for the kids.  Notice how fun it is decorated- see those cute light fixtures- love them!

Oh yea, and there are some kids in the picture too.
Like this cute kid, Kyle

Look at that pot in the back!  And Derek and Kyle.

Lots of kids

Emma and Ellie, soul mates.
Aiden, Jacob, Peter, Kyle, and Derek.  I hope I got that right.

Ryan, Anthony, Michael, Matthew, Parker, Eliza and James

Ellie, Emma, Stephanie, Makayla, Adaline, and Ashlyn
Bridie, Elle, Monica, William, and Lawson???

Ellie!

There were 3 birthdays during the reunion, Ben's (My sister, Athena's husband) Christina, and Julia (my sisters) So we had 3 birthday cakes 3 different times.  My mom never wants anyone to feel left out!

What a crowd singing Happy Birthday!

Tomorrow I am going to post pictures of Michael Coleman's house- I can't wait!

Cooke City Here We Come!

Well, I am off to Montana for the next week!  Then to Rigby, Idaho for 3 days to visit friends and go to BYU Idaho Education Week.  I didn't finish posting all the pictures of the family reunion, so I will do it when I get back.  It's almost 1 am and I need to pack food, clothes and the car tonight.  Laura is going to be here at 8:30 in the morning.  And Laura isn't late.  So, my point of all this is that I won't have internet for at least a week- so there will be no posts. But I'm sure I'll have lots of fun pictures when I get back!

Let the Chaos Begin

We just had our annual DeBry family reunion. Every one was there except Darren:(  We all missed him- Darren is the life of the party!  But it was a ton of fun, and chaos might be an understatement.  Actually, we had activities for the kids planned everyday and kept all 32 or 33 of them busy.  While the 15 adults tried to visit in-between dirty diapers, nursing and crying kids.  Wow, I just made that sound so fun!

I know these pictures are a little blury.  But you get the point The first day was Saturday- it was my day to do meals and activities for the kids.  I chose the Olympics as the theme.  We played games, had races, and I gave all the kids metals, for competing in the Olympics.  Julia helped me out by bringing down this great inflatable water slide that the kids loved!  Thanks Julia for making me look so good!

The teenage boys flexing.  Ryan, Matthew, James, Parker and Michael

We lined the kids up tallest to shortest

Ellie having a great time!

Makayla, Paul, Ellie and Emma
This is our old dog Jasmine-we had to leave her behind when we moved.  We gave her to Laura and her family loves her.  (most of the time)

Parker holding Gabe

Where it all started! My fantastic parents!  Still in love after 7 kids and 32 or 33 grandkids.  We all them them so much.

Katherine and Bridie
We had a race as one of the activities.

We also did an activity where you had to top someones head with shaving cream and then through cheetos on their head.  Whoever ended with the most cheetos on their head won!

LOL

It sort of turned into a shaving cream fight after the game.

Tug-of-war with Opa's hose.  It wasn't my idea!!!  I told them not to do it! yea, the hose broke.

So after the kids did their tug-of-war it was the adults turn.  I was on the side with Mark, and everyone know how competitive Mark is.  He HAS to win.  So while we are planning on how hard we are going to pull, the other side is planning on how they are going to pull for 3 seconds and then let go of the rope.  Yea, it was pretty funny when all our feet went flying into the air.  It was worth it cause we won!
