Well, here I sit, at my computer, with so many posts to catch up that I think I may just turn the computer off and never blog again. If I just post twice a day I'll be caught up in a few years.
First of all, I made it home in one piece. The flights home were ok, really, I can't complain about travel these days. After Gabe had been crying for the HOUR that we were waiting on the runway I thought, "well, at least I'm not walking there, in bare feet, in the winter, with no food, or shelter, and everyone around me dying, for three months." I mean seriously, its a few hours of sitting in a comfortable chair, with a pillow and blanket, and a women bringing me drinks and offering earplugs to everyone sitting by me. Everyone at the airports and on my flights were very helpful and nice. One guy said to me, "What are you, a glutton for punishment?" Hmmmm.
Ok, seriously though, my 5 week vacation is over. Where does time go??? I wish I could pause time. But no, it keeps on going and going. Sometimes it seems slower and other times faster. Like 6 months of pregnancy (SLOW) compared to Gabe's first 6 months (FAST!) It was so good to see family and friends and I mean, really, really, good. Lets take it one activity at a time. I guess we will start off where I left off.
The DeBry Family Reunion. My parents, plus their 7 kids and their
spouses, (everyone except Darren.) and 34! grand-kids. (I think) It made
for a large party. It mostly took place at my parents house- which they just remodeled. It looked just beautiful! She had it all decked out for the 4th, so
when I got there at night all the lights were on and the house looked
spectacular! See for yourself-
