Well, David and Marilyn gave us tickets to Dollywood for Christmas! We were so excited! But their was a catch. They expired Dec. 30th! So we took Erica and Rachie to Dollywood on Dec. 30th. We were able to upgrade them and get seasons passes for all of next year. Nice. We had a great time. So, usually at Dollywood, they have these special big huge mugs for sale for something crazy- like $15.00 each. Well, they were having a sale, buy one mug get one free, and get free refills all day! For some crazy reasonDarren bought these 2 refillable mugs. He said,"I just paid $15.00 for these so you had all better drink a lot today!" It was hilarious. We drank more hot chocolate in a day than Santa drinks in a year! We also had Apple Cider and Soda to our heats content. In fact, I think we drank to much! We had to go to the bathroom in between every ride! We are now familiar with every restroom in Dollywood. We had a wonderful day. The drive down was fun, the lights were beautiful, the rides were great, the food delicious, the show- Babes in Toyland was awesome. The kids thought it was the best show we have ever seen! (it was actually the ONLY show they have ever seen) We were there all day! It was cold, but we had plenty of hot chocolate to keep us warm! At the end of the day Kyle fell asleep in the show. The next day I had a huge Dollywood hangover! My whole body ached. I felt as if all my blood had been replaced with soda and hot chocolate. My neck ached from roller coasters, and my stomach growled for something other than Kettlecorn, Sausage on a Stick, and Funnel Cakes. It was worth it.
